A Righteous Voice

A non-practitioner in China spoke on behalf of Falun Gong: Last year's Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation incident and this year's incident of the mad man killing his family made me curious as to why tens of millions of people were practicing Falun Gong, including many highly educated intellectuals and professionals. I thought the answer must be in the book Zhuan Falun, but because most of the books have been burned it was difficult to find. By chance I found one copy at a private book-seller and bought it at a high price. I read it twice and to my surprise found out that the entire emphasis of the book is on how to be a good person.

Latest News from China

Today, 288 people solemnly declared that anything they said and did against Falun Dafa is invalid. They are determined to double their efforts and make up for the damage they have caused to Dafa. They will clean up their flaws, catch up with the Fa-rectification process, treasure the pre-destined cultivation opportunity and once again become noble, righteous, indestructible Dafa practitioners.

At about 6:00 p.m. on December 28, 2001, Zhu Weidong, the Assistant Chief of Fuan Police Substation in Jianshan District of Shuanyanshan City, Heilongjiang Province led a dozen policemen and broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Sun Fengjie. They forcibly arrested Sun and her husband Li Gang (Li is a non-practitioner) and their two small children. After being illegally arrested, Sun began a hunger strike to protest and is currently in a very weak state.

In December of 2001, lawless government officials in Dengmai County, Hainan Province relentlessly slandered Dafa, which brought disaster upon the local people's livestock. In early January of this year, many cattle in this county died of unknown causes and in some villages only a few cattle out of several hundred survived.

News from Abroad

Radio Free Asia - special report about Xiong Wei's arrest: Ms. Xiong Wei returned to China to work after studying in Germany for six years, and was arrested on January 5^th for distributing Falun Gong materials. Xiong's parents were physically and mentally traumatized by the news of her arrest and her mother, a physician, had a heart attack. Right now, Ms. Xiong's brother and other Falun Gong practitioners in Germany are trying to rescue her.

At 5 p.m. on January 22, Triple R Broadcast Station in Melbourne, Australia interviewed Falun Gong practitioner Jennifer who was arrested in China three times for practicing Falun Gong. While being detained in a forced labor camp, she was physically abused and was forced to work, producing products for an international company. After her interview with a reporter from the Sydney Morning Pioneer News, officials of the Chinese consulate in Sidney, Australia wrote a libelous letter to slander her reputation.

According to a report in "La Presse" (a French newspaper) in Quebec, Canada, Li Jinyu's husband was sentenced to two years in jail for appealing for Falun Gong. His term was finished on January 23, 2002. However, because he refused to sign a "guarantee letter" his term could be extended. In the past two years, Li has been continuously appealing for help to rescue her husband.

On January 19, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners went again to the Chinese Embassy to appeal peacefully, this time protesting the latest round of slander and persecution of Dafa practitioners in China by the Jiang-Luo Regime. Reporters and photographers from The Hague Daily interviewed the practitioners.

On the morning of January 21, practitioners from Missouri promoted Dafa at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial service in St. Louis. The Mayor of the city and many House Representatives attended the gathering; all accepted Dafa materials and expressed their willingness to help and support Falun Gong.

Practitioners in Taiwan sent Video-CDs to their friends and relatives; one teacher sent the Video-CDs to her student's parents. When people expressed an interest, the practitioners then sent a brief introduction to Falun Gong. The results have been very good.

During Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan's visit to Edinburgh, Scotland on January 18, practitioners from Scotland held peaceful protests at places where Tang was scheduled to appear. Every time Tang passed by, the practitioners clearly proclaimed, "Falun Dafa is Good" in Chinese to Tang and his associates. The Scottish Security officers even asked for copies of the "SOS -- Urgent Rescue of Falun Gong Practitioners" flier from the practitioners.

A 10-year old Dafa Practitioner's Fa Rectification Deeds in Other Dimensions: I ejected a very big golden Falun. It swirled slowly from one side of the Tiananmen rostrum to the other side and the rostrum looked as if it has been washed. Those demons were so weak that they could not withstand a single blow. Some demons were very cunning. They hid themselves by turning into tables, chairs, and some other stuff. After I destroyed all of them, I melted the house with my gong.

A Letter from German Falun Gong Practitioners to the Chinese Embassy in Munich: Where do you think your country will go when the person in power is even afraid because there are too many people believing in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" and the morality of its citizens is becoming more noble? Please extend your hands, our kindhearted fellow countrymen, to immediately stop the crazy and senseless deeds that deprive the Chinese people of their peace and living rights!

A Malaysian newspaper specializing in reporting business news recently published an article slandering Falun Gong. This technique of using foreign media to defame Falun Gong has been exposed overseas earlier. For a newspaper about "business," there is nothing to blame when business people talk about "profit." However, it is necessary to think three times if someone ignores "justice" when seeking "profits."

An Open Letter to the Chinese Embassy from a Practitioner from the Ukraine: You are forbidden to touch and read some materials because the evil beings are afraid that you will know the truth. You and many other officials in China are forced to commit crimes. Please do not go against your conscience. Do not ignore Falun Dafa's principles -- Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Stop distributing materials that tell lies.
