Today, 133 people solemnly declared that because their righteous belief and their righteous thoughts were not strong enough, they said and wrote things inconsistent with Dafa under persecution. They declared that all the statements were invalid. They will "Follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa." ("The Knowing Heart") They will double their efforts to make up for the damage they have caused to Dafa. They will keep up with Master's Fa-rectification process and become upright Dafa disciples.

Persecution of a Dafa practitioner from northeast China:

He went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested. The evil police in Changping County beat him mercilessly until he passed out. Afterwards, they escorted him to his hometown and the local police beat him with "white dragon" sticks that do damage internally but do not hurt one's skin; he was beaten for three to four hours. Police Officer An Likui repeatedly grabbed his hair and held him down. Likui received retribution immediately by falling to the ground and injuring his feet.

The police from the Chaoyanggou Labor Camp brutally beat Dafa practitioners. As soon as the practitioners entered the doors to the cells, the police started to punch and kick them. The practitioners were forced to get up at three o'clock in the morning and had to sit until eleven or twelve o'clock at night. It was very common for them to be beaten by canes, made to stand for long periods of time, and shocked by electric batons. Dafa disciples have been beaten to such an extent that their skin was torn, exposing the flesh beneath. Scars covered their bodies. Their faces have been deformed and look terrible because of the torture.

Exposing the torture I suffered at the Anda City Police Department in Heilongjiang Province:

I was illegally detained for eleven months. During that time I was physically and mentally tortured and humiliated. In September 2001, while I was talking to my sisters, police officers abducted me. Later, my son was fired and ordered to watch me at home. He had to report everything I said and did.

The facts about the abuse and brutal beatings of female practitioners at Masanjia Forced Labor (Concentration) Camp:

The vicious police forced practitioners to crawl in the snow. They beat and kicked the practitioners and even violently struck the practitioners' buttocks with their knees. They pulled the practitioners' hair, didn't allow them to sleep and attempted to brainwash them. All determined practitioners were inhumanely tortured.

Exposing the persecution I suffered from unlawful officials at the Laiwu [City] Steel Mill:

I was laid off by force for persistent cultivation of Dafa. I was arrested when going to Beijing to rectify the Fa and put into a room of less than 15 square meters at the Patrol Police Group of the Laiwu [City] Steel Mill. There were many people in the room, which made it very noisy. The radio was on twenty-four hours a day. We were given only two small steamed buns everyday and could only sleep sitting up. We were not allowed to move around. I was detained for over three months but I left openly and aboveboard in the end. Now I am forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest.

Cultivation Stories

The Buddha Law is boundless: Dafa practitioners use millions of truth-clarifying fliers to offer people salvation. Fearless practitioners overcame many difficulties and passed the truth-clarifying materials to people.

People are all waiting to obtain Dafa: Once the brake system of a practitioner's car had some problems, and the practitioner took the car to a repair shop. A prideful young technician at the shop changed his attitude and listened to the practitioner with full attention and respect while the practitioner spread Dafa to him. The sudden change in the young man caught the attention of other people in the shop, including the owner. They all came to listen to the practitioner.

In September 2001, unlawful police from Changchun City launched a large-scale arrest of Dafa practitioners who do Dafa work:

Some police guards broke into my apartment through the balcony and arrested me. I was detained for 81 days and went through many tribulations. Finally I broke the evil's arrangement and got out of the devil's den with my righteous thoughts.

The daughter of a Dafa practitioner from Benxi City, Liaoning Province was involved in a car accident. Her colleagues who were in the same car were all seriously injured, yet she was completely fine. The Dafa practitioner commented on the incident: our practitioners can bring blessings to family members. Her colleagues, friends and their family members, as well as the family members of those injured in the accident were all amazed at the miraculousness of Dafa.

Before practicing Falun Gong, a practitioner suffered from many diseases like heart disease, stroke, dizziness and kidney stones. Various treatments in the hospital did not help. Six months after the practitioner started to cultivate Dafa, a routine medical examination at the working unit showed that all the diseases had disappeared and the practitioner had regained good health.

A Dafa practitioner did not cooperate with the evil and he firmly resisted the evil request that he go to a brainwashing class. He kept clarifying the truth to the officials who came to his home trying to persuade him to attend a brainwashing class. They had no alternative but to leave. However, they did not want to give up, so they came back again. Seeing this, the practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil and he thought to himself, "They must leave, otherwise their heads will ache." In no more than 10 minutes they all left.

News from Overseas

During the weekend of December 1 and 2, over 50 practitioners from Queensland and New South Wales in Australia gathered at Gold Coast to have group study and experience sharing. They held a candlelight vigil on Saturday night, which attracted many people, including many local Chinese residents and tourists.

Canadian International Broadcasting Radio Station interviewed a Falun Gong practitioner named Zenon. Zenon told them that he went to China in order to tell the Chinese people that Falun Dafa is good and that he likes China and its culture. He said that he was not against the government.

The "Interviews and Discussions of Focal Points" program on CCTV on December 23 presented a ridiculous follow-up report about the "Fu Yibin Killing His Parents" case. Fu said in front of the camera, "After we develop 'compassion,' we need to have a heart of killing. I must develop the heart of killing people." This is obviously nonsense and something only a maniac would say and it could have been used to frame any kind of religion or practice.
