(Minghui.org) I went to a farmer’s market one day and when I got near the entrance, I noticed a man standing in the middle of the road. As I got closer, I saw he was offering passersby pieces of apples. When he saw me, he cut a piece of apple and invited me to taste it. I was wearing a mask and didn’t intend to buy his apples, so I didn’t want to take it. He insisted, but I declined. I smiled and rode my bike past him. He followed me and shouted, “Have a taste, it’s delicious!” I didn’t look back and rode away.
I finished shopping and passed by his stall again. He was still standing in the middle of the road and offering people samples of his apples. His enthusiasm made it hard to refuse. I reminded myself that I’m a practitioner and I should hold myself to a higher standard. I know it’s not easy to be a business owner, so I never taste samples when I shop for groceries.
As soon as he saw me he urged me to taste his apple. I said, “Thank you. I really don’t want to.” I began riding away. He said, “You’re the only person who refused to taste my apples.” The practitioner with me wanted to buy some apples, so I stopped and waited for her. I thought I should tell him about Falun Dafa. The other practitioner asked his wife whether she knew about quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and it’s affiliated organizations. The wife said that she and her husband quit the CCP a long time ago, and that someone gave them an informational flash drive yesterday. They understood the facts and knew Falun Dafa is good.
When I mentioned quitting the CCP, the man asked, “Have you quit the CCP? Quit the CCP to have a safe future. Quit quickly!” I said, “I already quit.” He said happily, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is really great!” I said, “Yes, Dafa is here to save people.” He asked, “Do you practice it?” I said yes. He said, “Falun Dafa practitioners are all good people.”
I looked at him and smiled. He was so happy that he danced for joy. While he distributed samples of his apples, he advised people to quit the CCP. I was truly happy for him!
