English Translation of the Congratulatory Letter:

Statement for Falun Dafa Day 2024(A greeting for the celebration of Falun Dafa Day on Saturday, May 11 at Kungsträdgården, Stockholm).

Concern Over Human Rights: We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the ongoing human rights violations [perpetrated] in China. We naturally support your work – the Falun Gong movement’s efforts for human rights and to stop the persecution and its atrocities in China, which are well-documented by human rights organizations, governments, the Council of Europe, and the UN.

Freedom of Speech and Religion: Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to freedom of conscience are universal human rights that no government has the right to violate.

Falun Gong: We understand that Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a meditation and cultivation method with deep roots in traditional Chinese culture. Its disciples value Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance [and are guided by them.] The method involves gentle exercises and a meditation, as well as teachings that people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs can study.

International Falun Dafa Day: On May 13, 2024, International Falun Dafa Day, the practice celebrates its 32nd anniversary since its public introduction. This comes at a time when individual well-being and personal responsibility have been more important than ever since the pandemic.

Swedish Member of the Riksdag Nima Gholam Ali Pour emphasized in his congratulatory message, “The peaceful practice of religion is a universal right. Falun Gong practitioners have this right, despite the Chinese communist regime’s attempts not only to make the world forget what religious freedom means, but also suppresses all other human rights.

“What I and many others will not forget is that the Chinese communist regime violates human rights every day. Regardless of its perceived strength in economics, politics, and military affairs, we must never forget the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners and other Chinese citizens. No regime can deprive the Chinese people of their rights.

“Falun Gong practitioners’ continuous struggle for their religious freedom rights and [against] the brutal repression by the Beijing communist regime serve as reminders: The Chinese communist regime is currently and will forever be a disgrace in human history. It is a regime that steals organs from human bodies, showing complete disregard for human physical well-being and dignity.

“We will stand together on the side of historical justice, witnessing this dark period of the Chinese communist dictatorship.”
